Job summary

Perigon Group seeks a Director to join our Sydney team, driving new business origination from CIPF issuers and sponsors across Australia and New Zealand. You will manage issuer and banker relationships while identifying opportunities and building the organisation's visibility and positioning in the region.

You will lead strategic outreach, collaborate with a global revenue team, and represent the business at conferences to strengthen market presence.

Qualifications

• Significant relationship management experience in Debt Capital Markets, banking or financial services.
• Strategic thinker capable of developing and executing a marketing/outreach plan.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Confident communicator who collaborates, prioritises and drives outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Originate new business mandates from CIPF issuers and sponsors across ANZ.
• Identify gaps and opportunities, developing a strategic outreach plan.
• Manage issuer and banker relationships to meet revenue budgets.
• Support Private Credit initiatives across Australia and New Zealand.
• Lead contract renewals with the global revenue management team.
• Market ESG-linked opinion products to target issuers.
• Conduct market research and develop pitch materials; track deal flow.
• Represent the business at conferences and industry meetings to build visibility.

About the Role

We're looking for a Director to join our client's Sydney team, driving new business origination from Corporate Infrastructure and Project Finance (CIPF) issuers and sponsors across Australia and New Zealand. You'll manage existing issuer and banker relationships while identifying new opportunities and building the organisation's visibility and positioning in the region.

Responsibilities

• Originate new business mandates from CIPF issuers and sponsors across ANZ
• Identify gaps and new opportunities, developing a strategic outreach plan
• Manage existing issuer and banker relationships to meet revenue budgets
• Support Private Credit initiatives across Australia and New Zealand
• Lead contract renewals in partnership with the global revenue management team
• Market the group's ESG-linked opinion products to target issuers
• Conduct market research and data analysis to develop pitch materials and track deal flow
• Represent the business at conferences, seminars and industry meetings to build market visibility.

Required Skills

• Significant relationship management experience in Debt Capital Markets, banking or financial services - you may come from a bank coverage team or a DCM background, or have direct issuer-side experience in the sector
• A strategic thinker who can develop and execute a marketing/outreach plan
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills advantageous
• Confident communicator who works collaboratively, manages priorities independently, and drives outcomes with initiative

Preferred Skills

• Direct issuer-side experience in the sector
• Background in a bank coverage team or DCM
