Job summary

Tallentire O'Flynn Movsowitz is seeking an Associate Director, Derivatives Sales (Interest Rates, FX & Commodities) to own and grow a cross‑ANZ derivatives portfolio. You will deliver risk management solutions to a diverse client base, with exposure to IR, FX, and commodities, and work closely with senior stakeholders and relationship teams.

You will mentor colleagues and contribute to strategic initiatives while driving revenue growth and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Law, or related discipline.
• RG146 compliant with AFMA accreditation (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in interest rate and/or derivatives sales.
• Strong understanding of interest rate products and risk management.
• Experience with FX and commodity markets is valued.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage a portfolio independently while collaborating with teams.

About the Role

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Derivatives Sales to join its Markets team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a markets professional to take ownership of a derivatives portfolio across Australia and New Zealand, delivering risk management solutions to a diverse client base. With exposure across interest rates, foreign exchange, and commodities, the role offers broad market coverage and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, relationship teams, and clients to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

As a senior member of the team, you will also play a key role in mentoring colleagues, sharing market expertise, and contributing to strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience
