Job summary

TASK is seeking a Deputy Service Leader at The Junction Public School to drive front-line leadership for our After School Care service. This permanent, part-time role (27.5 hours/week) spans morning and afternoon shifts, with setup time.

You will support the Service Manager, mentor Educators, and lead end-to-end service operations to deliver a joyful, safe, and inclusive program. You will build strong relationships with families and the school community, ensure policy and regulatory compliance,

Qualifications

• Substantial leadership experience in a childcare setting, preferably OSHC.
• Excellent communication with families, school staff and children.
• A-track record of building supportive, inclusive team cultures.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting a team of Educators at the service.
• Building strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Ensuring compliance with NQF standards and TASK policies.
• Working with the Service Manager on administrative duties.
• Running the service end to end and acting as Responsible Person when the Service Manager is not on site.
• Creating a fun, inclusive, and enriching environment for children.
