Job summary

Netwealth is seeking a Deputy Chief Risk Officer to lead enterprise risk, compliance and risk transformation in a high-growth fintech environment. You will steer a team of 20–25, partner with business leaders, and embed clear Three Lines accountability across risk, controls and governance.

You'll bring hands-on experience in regulated financial services, strong commercial judgement, and the ability to influence executives and the Board.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise risk transformation end to end.
• Leadership in regulated financial services with credibility at Board level.
• Strong understanding of Three Lines accountability in practice.
• Knowledge of Australian FS APRA/ASIC expectations.
• Data, technology and governance, risk and compliance fluency.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Netwealth's target risk operating model.
• Lead enterprise risk and compliance frameworks, appetite, controls and incident management.
• Embed Three Lines accountability and independent Line 2 oversight.
• Improve GRC data, risk mapping, automation and reporting.
• Provide decision-useful reporting to the Executive and Board risk committees.
• Develop senior risk leaders and teams with clear ownership.
• Act as deputy to the Chief Risk, Legal & Governance Officer for risk.
