Job summary

Guppy’s Early Learning Centre in Caboolture is seeking a dedicated 2IC to join our team of qualified early learning professionals. The role supports the Nominated Supervisor in managing the service, promoting children's learning, and handling day-to-day administration.

This permanent part-time position offers training and educational leadership opportunities, paid programming time, study, training and professional development, with a pathway for career progression for a diploma-qualified

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent required or in study.
• Blue Card currently held or able to obtain.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma qualifications current or obtainable.
• Good understanding of the Early Years Quality Framework.
• Knowledge of the Queensland Kindergarten curriculum and current regulations.
• A strong written and verbal communication ability.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Passion for children and development.

Responsibilities

• Manage service in absence of Nominated Supervisor including day-to-day accounts and admin.
• Prepare, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children or groups.
• Lead or contribute to educational leadership and training opportunities.
• Collaborate with Centre Director and team for service quality.
