Job summary

Indie Campers is seeking a Depot Customer Service professional for our Cairns location. You’ll be the face of the depot, report to the APAC Area Operations Manager, and ensure top customer care, neat campervan fleet, and accountable depot operations.

You will handle reservations, fleet maintenance, team supervision, stock management, and local supplier coordination. Weekend and public holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Tourism, Hospitality, Retail or Rent-a-car is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable speaking directly with customers.
• Eligible to work in Australia, valid driver’s license and ability to drive a campervan (mandatory).
• Available to work weekends and national holidays.
• Reliable and well-organized with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservations, welcoming guests and taking care of check-ins and check-outs.
• Take care of the fleet, logistics, and ensure campervans are maintained in top condition through monitoring maintenance needs.
• Assist in Training, supervising, and coaching your team.
• Manage bookings and stock, liaise with local suppliers and cleaning services.
• Handle complaints, emergencies, and any local issue to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and clean campervans.
• Assist in reselling campervans and show them to prospective buyers.
