Job summary

Spotlight is Australasia’s largest chain of craft, fabric and home interior stores. We are seeking a hands-on Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You'll build and coach a high-performing team, manage stock and visual merchandising, plan campaigns, and uphold Spotlight's values and standards. This full-time role offers leadership training and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Strong retail leadership experience preferred.
• Visual merchandising experience required.
• Physically capable to handle large volumes of stock.

Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Store Manager in managing daily operations
• Monitor daily stock recovery in your department
• Achieve sales growth and meet department KPI targets
• Build your team to deliver exceptional customer service
• Lead by example in all areas
• High volume stock management
• Executing department Visual Merchandising and standards
• Launching and planning catalogue campaigns
• Stock integrity initiatives to increase department profit

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong retail leadership experience preferred
• Visual merchandising experience
• Physically capable to work large volumes of stock and set the pace
• Having an owner's mindsetfor your department
• A passionate attitude that inspires your Team
• A resilient & innovative problem solver
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• IT competency
• First Aid certified or willing to be trained (fully funded)
