Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Department Manager to lead daily operations, sales and high-volume stock management in your specialist area. You will manage a team of 20+ and collaborate with Store Leadership while reporting to Operations Manager and Complex Manager to deliver Best Experience and lowest prices.

Responsibilities include staff development, rostering, safeguarding safety, engaging suppliers, monitoring KPI metrics, and ensuring exceptional customer service seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in high-volume retail environments.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Ability to manage weekend rosters and store opening/closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 20+ person team and perform duty manager responsibilities.
• Drive Best Experience and Safety Culture & Compliance across the department.
• Roster planning and strategic scheduling to meet service promises.
• Monitor department KPIs, stock accuracy, availability, and loss prevention.
