Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Department Manager to oversee daily operations, high-volume stock management and sales in a specialist area. You and a team of 20+ will drive service quality, training and development to deliver the Widest Range and Best Prices.

You will monitor customer service levels, collaborate with Merchandising, Store Leadership and Health & Safety teams, and build strong supplier relationships. The role includes weekend work as part of the roster.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in retail.
• Strong focus on safety and wellbeing.
• Ability to manage KPI targets and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment, while performing duty manager responsibilities.
• Build team capability on Best Experience and Safety Culture & Compliance, including engagement, performance management and recognition.
• Rostering and strategic planning to deliver on service promise and monitor key metrics.
• Act on customer feedback to improve the end-to-end customer experience.
• Own department stock accuracy including adjustments, replenishment and loss prevention.
