Job summary

Bunnings Warehouse in Melbourne is seeking a motivated Department Manager to lead a 20+ strong team and to drive service, stock management and overall store performance. You will train and develop staff, ensure Best Experience for customers, and collaborate with Merchandising, Store Leadership and Health and Safety teams.

With a focus on safety, engagement and results, you will open and close the store, manage rosters, and deliver on our service promise in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams in retail or high-volume customer-focused environments.
• Strong focus on safety, wellbeing and policy compliance.
• Ability to open/close the store and support weekend trading.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ to deliver Great Service and safe operations.
• Coach and develop team capabilities for Best Experience and Safety Culture & Compliance.
• Plan rosters and manage merchandising to meet service promises and key metrics.
• Monitor customer feedback and drive improvements across the end-to-end experience.
• Own department stock accuracy, replenishment, and loss prevention.
