Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Department Manager in Sydney to lead a 20+ person team and manage daily operations, sales and high-volume stock in a fast-paced store environment.

You will train and develop staff, drive customer experience, and ensure our Widest Range and Best Prices are showcased. Weekend rosters are required; collaboration with Merchandising, Store Leadership and Health & Safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of 20+ team members in a high-volume retail environment.
• Experience driving customer service and service standards.
• Ability to monitor safety, compliance and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ and perform duty manager responsibilities (opening/closing).
• Develop team capability and drive Best Experience and Safety Culture & Compliance.
• Roster, plan and drive department sales with strong merchandising and KPI focus.
• Act on customer feedback to improve end-to-end experience.
• Oversee stock accuracy, replenishment and loss prevention.
