Job summary

Spotlight Retail Group is seeking a results-driven Dept Manager / Team Leader to join our Australasian superstore network, including Spotlight, Anaconda and Harris Scarfe. In this role you will support the Store Manager, lead a high-performing team and drive customer service, merchandising and stock management.

The ideal candidate will bring strong retail leadership, visual merchandising expertise, excellent communication and the ability to work with large volumes of stock.

Qualifications

• Strong retail leadership experience preferred.
• Visual merchandising experience.
• Physically capable to work large volumes of stock and set the pace.
• Having an owner's mindset for your department.
• A passionate attitude that inspires your Team.
• A resilient & innovative problem solver.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• IT competency.
• First Aid certified or willing to be trained (fully funded).

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Store Manager in managing daily operations
• Monitor daily stock recovery in your department
• Achieve sales growth and meet department KPI targets
• Build your team to deliver exceptional customer service
• Lead by example in all areas
• High volume stock management
• Executing department Visual Merchandising and standards
• Launching and planning catalogue campaigns
• Stock integrity initiatives to increase department profit
