Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Department Manager to oversee daily operations, high-volume stock management and team performance in a fast-paced environment. You and a 20+ strong team will be responsible for training, ensuring Best Experience for customers, and delivering our Widest Range and Best Prices.

You’ll monitor service levels, collaborate with Merchandising, Store Leadership and Health & Safety teams, and work a minimum of 1 in 3 weekends with some public holidays required.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership with the ability to coach and develop a 20+ team.
• Experience in safety culture, policy compliance and incident prevention.
• Retail leadership with KPI focus and customer service excellence.
• Open and close store duties with weekend rosters.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 20+ team to a safe, engaged work environment and duty manager duties.
• Develop team capability around Best Experience and Safety Culture & Compliance.
• Plan rosters and drive department sales through merchandising and metrics.
• Act on customer feedback to improve the end-to-end experience.
• Maintain stock accuracy, adjustments, replenishment and loss prevention.
