Serco is seeking a Dentist for Robertson Health Centre at Robertson Barracks, Holtze, NT. The role involves delivering comprehensive dental care to Defence personnel within a multidisciplinary team, with a day-time, Monday–Friday style schedule and no Medicare billing.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as a Dentist (unrestricted)
• Minimum two years of post-graduate clinical experience
• First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certification
• Australian Citizenship for baseline security clearance

• Willingness to work in a Defence setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical dental services to Defence members
• Provide a full range of general dental care including examinations, diagnosis and treatment planning

• Maintain accurate records and use Defence eHealth systems

About Robertson

Robertson Health Centre is located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, 15km east of Darwin. It is home to the 1st Brigade & 1st Aviation Regiment. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2800 members, with a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy and mental health services. It also operates a 22-bed low dependency ward 24/7. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 - 15:30 Monday - Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts). This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver clinical dental services to Defence members
• Provide a full range of general dental care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning and preventative care
• Undertake procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal treatments, periodontal care and minor oral surgery
• Promote and maintain oral health through patient education, preventative strategies and ongoing care
• Use diagnostic tools including dental imaging to support clinical decision-making and treatment planning
• Maintain accurate clinical records using Defence eHealth systems and ensure compliance with governance frameworks
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes

What You Bring

• Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Dentist with AHPRA
• Minimum two years' full-time (or equivalent) post graduate clinical experience, with recent practice within the last five years
• Strong clinical capability across a broad range of general dentistry procedures
• Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certification
• Australian Citizenship required for baseline security clearance
• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
