Based at RA​AF Amberley, you will support clinicians, manage equipment and records, and help promote oral health in a well-supported environment. Standard hours apply, with on-base benefits including parking and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification.
• 2 years chair-side experience in a dental clinical setting.
• Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certification.
• Strong understanding of infection control and clinical standards.
• Great communication skills with a caring, team-focused approach.

About The Amberley Health Centre

RAAF Base Amberley, the largest Air Force Base in Australia and approximately 50 minutes from Brisbane city. It provides operational and maintenance support for the precision strike element of the Air Combat Group, F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft. Supports the strategic lift capability for the Australian military’s KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT), C-17 Globemaster III heavy lift aircraft and C-27J Spartan battlefield airlifters. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to over 6500 RAAF members. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Thursday (depending on role requirements), and a half day (5.5 hours) Friday.

What You’ll Do
