Maven Dental New Farm in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist for a full-time role across four days, with Wednesdays and weekends off. You will be the first point of contact, handling appointments, payments, and front desk administration while supporting a welcoming patient experience within a four-dayer schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental reception or dental assisting role (essential)
• Recent experience using Oasis practice management software (essential)
• Availability to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
• Knowledge of HICAPS, health fund claims and dental item numbers
• A warm and professional approach to patient care, including when handling challenging or sensitive situations

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, professional first impression
• Managing appointments, patient enquiries and day-to-day reception duties
• Answering phone calls and assisting patients with their questions
• Processing payments, HICAPS and health fund claims
• Maintaining accurate patient records and keeping the front desk organised
• Working closely with the dentists, hygiene team and Practice Manager throughout the day
• Using Oasis practice management software and MS Office for day-to-day administration
• Supporting a positive patient experience, including for nervous or anxious patients
