Job summary

Golden Beach Dental Services Pty Ltd in Caloundra, QLD, is seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist/Assistant for a full-time position. You will be the first point of contact, delivering friendly service and supporting clinical and administrative operations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling, check-in/out, billing queries, maintaining records, sterilising instruments, and assisting the dentist.

Qualifications

• A qualification or certification as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist, or equivalent experience in a dental or healthcare setting
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Australian Dental Board standards and Best Practice guidelines
• Willingness to obtain a First Aid certificate

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and creating a welcoming environment
• Managing patient appointments and scheduling
• Handling check-in/check-out, payments and billing queries
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
• Sterilising and preparing instruments and operatory areas
• Providing chairside assistance during dental treatments
• Managing inquiries and appointment reminders
• Ensuring infection control protocols and health and safety standards
