Job summary

North Sydney Dentistry in North Sydney, NSW invites a friendly and motivated Dental Receptionist to join our growing team on a full-time basis (9 days/fortnight, no weekends!). You’ll be the face of our practice, welcoming patients and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.

In this busy, patient-focused environment you’ll manage bookings, respond to inquiries, handle payments and support clinicians while upholding exceptional service and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the practice: greet patients and make them feel welcome.
• Manage appointments, coordinate schedules and keep clinicians organised.
• Deliver outstanding customer service: answer calls, respond to emails, assist patients.
• Handle patient administration: check-ins, payments, billing and records.
• Work closely with dentists and staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Assist dentists chairside when required and support infection control.
• Contribute ideas to improve systems and the patient experience.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

No two days are quite the same! Your responsibilities will include:

• Be the face of our practice! Greet patients with a genuine smile and make them feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
• Keep things running smoothly! Manage appointments, coordinate schedules and help our clinicians stay organised.
• Deliver outstanding customer service! Answer calls, respond to emails and assist patients with their enquiries.
• Manage patient administration. Handle check-ins, payments, billing, health fund claims and patient records.
• Be a team player! Work closely with our dentists and support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Get involved clinically! Assist dentists chairside when required and support infection control and sterilisation procedures.
• Bring your ideas! Help us continuously improve our systems, patient experience and workplace environment.
