Job summary

Latrobe Community Health Service in Victoria is seeking passionate Dental Prosthetists for casual roles across Gippsland sites. You will provide high-quality removable prosthetics fabrication, fitting, adjustment and repairs, collaborating with dentists and dental technicians to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Applicants must hold an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor in Dental Prosthetics (or equivalent), be AHPRA registered, hold a Victorian driver’s licence, and demonstrate patient-centered,

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma or Bachelor in Dental Prosthetics (or equivalent).
• Current AHPRA registration and Victorian driver's licence.
• Strong knowledge of the Community Dental Program.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-centred and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality prosthetic services including fabrication, fitting, adjustment, and repair of removable prostheses and sports mouthguards.
• Collaborate with dentists, dental technicians and other oral health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Support patients across a range of programs including the Community Dental Program, Child Dental Benefit Scheme, Smile Squad, Peninsula Health and Bass Coast Health agreements.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold infection control, safety and compliance standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in service quality and patient care.
