Oral Health Victoria (formerly Dental Health Services Victoria) – Carlton VIC is seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory professional to manufacture a broad range of removable prosthesis appliances, including full and partial dentures, overdentures, and repairs. The role is based in a public health setting within RDHM’s Dental Laboratory.

Competenze

• Diploma of Dental Technology required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with all aspects of dental removable prosthetic appliances, processes, Co/Cr design, surveying, duplication of working models splints, laser and electro-spot welding, metal polishing, wax modelling, wire bending, shade/mould selection.

Mansioni

• Construct, modify, and repair removable dental prosthetics from dental impressions.
• Produce high-quality dentures, splints, cobalt chrome frameworks, and other prescribed prostheses.
• Support OHV clinicians, laboratory staff, and dental students from UoM and RMIT.
• Create teaching aids, including dental casts, articulated models, and surgical splints.
• Assist with laboratory operations while maintaining quality, throughput, and turnaround time standards.

• Full-time fixed term role until end of March 2027
• $64,957 per annum +12 % Super + Monthly ADO
• Salary Packaging options available. You can use up to $9,010 per year of your pre-tax income for a range of everyday items and expenses and up to a further $2,650 per year on Meal Entertainment. This means you could pay less tax and have more money to spend!

Position Purpose

As part of the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM) Dental Laboratory team, this role is responsible for manufacturing a broad range of Removable Prosthesis appliances, making of full and partial dentures, overdentures, and repairs/adjustments for removable appliances.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, modify, and repair removable dental prosthetics from dental impressions.
• Produce high-quality dentures, splints, cobalt chrome frameworks, and other prescribed prostheses.
• Support OHV clinicians, laboratory staff, and dental students from UoM and RMIT.
• Create teaching aids, including dental casts, articulated models, and surgical splints.
