Mornington Peninsula Dental Clinic is seeking an experienced Clinical Coordinator to lead our dental assisting team and elevate the standard across practices. This hands-on role balances chairside involvement with leadership duties to ensure smooth operations, proper sterilisation, and stock control across nine chairs.

You’ll mentor and train staff, set the standard for performance, and partner with management to sustain a patient-first, high-quality dental care culture on the Mornington

Competenze

• Solid experience as a dental assistant in a busy general practice.
• A Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is well regarded, but what matters most is that you’ve done the work and know what excellent chairside assisting and surgery management look like.

Mansioni

• Train and mentor our dental assistants, helping them build their skills and confidence.
• Be the main point of contact for the dental assisting team, so they always know who to come to.
• Lead the morning huddle with the dental assisting team, setting everyone up for a smooth and well-organised day.
• Oversee stock levels and coordinating ordering, so surgeries have what they need without waste or last-minute scrambles.
• Oversee our sterilisation processes and ensure our standards are met every day.
• Check each surgery at the end of the day to ensure stock, cleanliness and instrument counts are correct.
• Hold the team accountable for completing duties and maintaining standards with warmth and fairness.
