Job summary

1300SMILES Gladstone Central is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead the clinical side of a busy Gladstone practice. This full-time role blends clinical knowledge with organisation, leadership and day-to-day coordination alongside the Practice Manager and Lead Dentist.

You’ll oversee infection control, manage stock and laboratory processes, maintain records and support the clinical team to stay organised and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior Dental Assisting, Clinical Coordinator or similar role is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of infection control and clinical standards.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence managing stock, records and clinical processes.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and confidence supporting and guiding others.
• A practical approach to problem-solving and improving the way things are done.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating day-to-day clinical operations and supporting the clinical team
• Overseeing infection control processes and clinical standards
• Managing clinical stock, materials and inventory
• Maintaining records for incoming and outgoing laboratory work
• Coordinating the storage and archiving of dental models
• Completing and monitoring daily clinical checklists
• Identifying opportunities to improve clinical processes and workflow
• Supporting the Practice Manager and Lead Dentist with clinical training and development
• Providing guidance and support to the wider clinical team
• Providing Dental Assisting support when required
