Job summary

Gentle Dental Hervey Bay is offering a Dental Assistant Trainee role designed for career changers and absolute beginners. You’ll receive hands-on, on-the-job training across general dentistry, sterilisation, patient education and front-desk duties in our Urraween and Eli Waters clinics.

No prior dental experience is required—we’ll coach you and help you grow into a confident dental assistant with room to advance within the practice.

• Customer service or admin experience welcome but not essential.

About us

Gentle Dental Hervey Bay is a locally owned and operated family dental practice. We offer a relaxed, friendly place for patients to get care for all their dental needs. As owners, we’re Hervey Bay locals too. We know the region, its strengths and its challenges, and we want to provide a service locals can relate to.

We run two busy clinics in Urraween and Eli Waters. Our services cover everything from general dentistry to orthodontics, implantology (including All-on-4), and GA and IV sedation procedures, all delivered with the most modern equipment available.
