Job summary

Bank Place Dental is a family and community focused practice in Victoria, Australia, inviting a motivated Trainee Dental Assistant to join. You will receive full training and on‑the‑job support while progressing toward a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (online).

No prior experience is required, and WWCC is preferred for employment. The role involves assisting dentists, sterilisation, room preparation, patient care, and admin duties, with hours arranged around an 8‑day fortnight.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Trainee/Qualified Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick‑start your career in the dental industry while receiving full training and support.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting our Dentists
• Sterilisation duties and maintaining high standards of infection control
• Ensuring treatment rooms are clean, stocked and well organised
• Providing warm, professional patient care and customer service
• Administrative tasks and maintaining accurate patient records
• Completing on‑the‑job training while working to complete a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (online)

Working Hours

You must be available for an 8-day fortnight with the following hours:

• Monday to Wednesday: 7:30am – 6:30pm
• Thursday to Friday: 7:45am – 5:30pm
