Job summary

NOVA Dental Implant Centre is seeking a Dental Assistant to support both general and surgical dentistry. You’ll grow with a clinic focused on implant and surgical care, with opportunities to develop surgical skills and exposure to advanced procedures.

Flexible working arrangements Monday–Saturday, with a supportive team and pathways to advance skills in implant dentistry within a multidisciplinary clinic.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting across general, restorative and implant dentistry.
• Prepare surgeries, instruments and materials.
• Take dental X-rays and impressions.
• Ensure sterility and infection control.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Support clinicians and coordinate clinical flow.
• Assist patients before, during and after treatment.
• Collaborate with dentists and the NOVA team.

At NOVA Dental Implant Centre, we’re growing our clinical team and looking for Dental Assistants who care about doing their job exceptionally well.

You don’t need to be an implant or surgical DA already.

If you’re an experienced general Dental Assistant with strong clinical foundations, we can help you develop your skills and gain exposure to advanced implant and surgical dentistry. And if you already have surgical or implant experience, we’d love to give you the environment to take those skills even further.

You may assist with everyday general and restorative dentistry while also having the opportunity to work alongside clinicians performing advanced implant procedures and complex surgical treatment.

What you’ll be doing

Depending on your experience and interests, your role may include:

• Chairside assisting across general, restorative and implant dentistry
• Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials
• Dental X-rays and impressions
• Sterilisation and infection control
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Anticipating clinicians’ needs and keeping procedures running efficiently
• Supporting patients before, during and after treatment
• Coordinating clinical flow throughout the day
• Working closely with dentists, clinicians and the wider NOVA team

For DAs interested in developing their surgical skills, there will also be opportunities for exposure to implant surgery, surgical workflows and advanced rehabilitation cases.
