Job summary

Heal Dental Care in Burleigh Heads is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a close-knit, family-owned team. This full-time role covers 38 hours across four days, with weekend work on a rotating roster to support our busy practice.

You will assist chair-side, manage stock, handle sterilisation and infection control, take clinical notes, and support patient management while contributing to an efficient, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with chair-side assisting and patient care.
• Proficient in sterilisation and infection control.
• Ability to manage stock and order supplies.
• Accurate clinical note taking and patient management.

Dental Assistant – Full Time | Burleigh Heads

Heal Dental Care is a busy, family-owned dental practice in Burleigh Heads with a close-knit team that takes a lot of pride in the care we provide and the way we work together.

We’re looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who is switched on, hardworking and reliable and who genuinely enjoys being part of a team. Someone who takes pride in doing things well, uses their initiative, notices what needs to be done and is always willing to contribute.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time role of 38 hours across 4 days per week, offering the benefit of completing your full-time hours over four working days.

You’ll work alongside our team of 8 clinicians and 9 auxiliary staff, supporting the smooth running of our surgeries and helping us provide a consistently high standard of care to our patients.

Applicants must be willing to participate in weekend work on a rotating roster.

You’ll be experienced in:

• Chair-side assisting
• Sterilisation and infection control
• Stock control
• Clinical note taking
• Patient management
• Keeping surgeries organised, prepared and running efficiently
