A boutique specialist dental practice on the Gold Coast is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join the team for a 4-day week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri). You will support with chairside care, sterilization, radiography, and patient comfort. Training provided for the right candidate; prior dental assisting experience is preferred, Cert III/IV a plus.

Job description

We are seeking a reliable, warm, and proactive Dental Assistant to join our team 4 days a week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Friday). You will work closely with our specialists to deliver high-end clinical care while ensuring our patients feel comfortable and well-supported throughout their visits.

Key responsibilities

• Chairside assistance for specialized dental procedures
• Sterilization, infection control, and strict adherence to ADA standards
• Preparing treatment rooms, clinical trays, and materials prior to appointments
• Digital radiography, intraoral scanning, and patient record management
• Patient care coordination, reassuring patients, and maintaining smooth clinic flow

About you

• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred (Cert III/IV in Dental Assisting is a plus)
• Motivated candidates with a strong work ethic, great attitude, and eagerness to learn are highly encouraged to apply—full clinical training will be provided for the right candidate
• A friendly, positive demeanor with excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
