Job summary

Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Demi Chef for Lizard Island Resort. You will design, prepare, and present high-quality dishes while maintaining HACCP-compliant, hygienic kitchen operations.

You will support the team to deliver a first-class guest dining experience on a remote Australian island. You will work with a professional kitchen team, contribute to menu design, and participate in inventory control and cost reporting as part of a global hospitality group with elite

Qualifications

• Diploma in Professional Cookery Level 5 or equivalent.
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate is beneficial.
• Proven experience with buffet and bulk food production service.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day roster.

As a Demi Chef, you will be showcasing your skills as part of an exceptional kitchen team, bringing new top-tier menu planning and design to life. You will be managing inventory control, cost of goods sold, profit and loss reporting, and ensuring compliance with hazard analysis and critical control points and food safety across our back-of-house operations.
