Job summary

K'gari Beach Resort on Fraser Island is seeking a Demi Chef for a part-time, live-on island role. You will own your section and contribute to high-standard dining across the resort's outlets.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Demi Chef or similar role.
• Experience in a high-volume resort, hotel or commercial kitchen.
• Food Safety certification (RSA desirable).
• Strong organisation, communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals to resort standards.
• Maintain food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Support food quality, presentation and service delivery.
• Assist with stock control and kitchen preparation.
• Work collaboratively with the wider culinary team.
