Job summary

Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’gari (Fraser Island) seeks a hands-on Kitchen Steward to join our live-on island team. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, safe and organised while supporting chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Working with a friendly kitchen team, you’ll assist with dishwashing, cleaning and basic food preparation, maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards in a unique island lifestyle setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots and kitchen equipment
• Clean and sanitise kitchen and storage areas
• Assist with basic food preparation duties
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards
• Support daily kitchen operations and service
