Novotel Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast is seeking a Demi Chef to join its busy hotel kitchen. You will assist with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while upholding food safety standards.

Work alongside the Chef de Partie and broader team in a fast-paced environment, with weekends and evenings as part of a rotating roster. The role offers exposure to event catering and conference services.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a Demi Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen environment.
• Relevant culinary qualifications.
• Previous experience in conference, events, banquets and a high-volume buffet breakfast operation highly desired.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• A passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
