Tyremax in Brisbane (Lytton) is seeking a Delivery Service Specialist to join our team. You will deliver goods to customers in line with the company delivery policy, assist with stock handling, and support management to achieve optimal efficiency and service.

The role requires a valid manual driver’s licence, ability to work in a team, and the stamina to handle repetitive lifting. A National criminal check and medical are part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Must hold a manual driver’s licence.
• Previous warehouse and driving experience considered.
• Ability to organise, meet deadlines and work well in a team to service delivery locations.

Responsabilités

• Deliver goods to customers per route directed by dispatch supervisor.
• Unload goods at customers’ premises ensuring accuracy with invoices.
• Collect product for return according to the goods returns policy.
• Ensure deliveries are fulfilled within agreed timeframes and communicate delays promptly.
• Complete delivery run sheets.
• Perform check of consignment stock at customers’ premises as requested by Warehouse Despatch Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods in accordance with the route directed by the despatch supervisor
• Unloading of goods at customers’ premises ensuring goods are in accordance with the invoice details
• Collect product for return in accordance with the goods returns policy
• Ensure deliveries are fulfilled in agreed timeframes and any delays to the agreed delivery time are to be communicated to the customer as soon as possible
• Perform check of consignment stock at customers’ premises as requested by the Warehouse Despatch Supervisor

Skills and attributes required

• Ability to organise, manage deadlines, work in a team and have an understanding of customer needs and delivery locations
• Must hold manual drivers licence
• Previous warehouse and driving experience
• Repetitive heavy lifting is an inherent requirement of the role
• This position may require the driver to load, move and unload between 50-100 tyres per day
• Provide feedback in meetings and support actions and outcomes as they arise
