Ron Finemore Tyres in Melbourne is hiring a dedicated driver to meet growing delivery needs. This full-time role covers metro, regional and interstate runs with overtime possible.

You will build strong relationships with customers, complete paperwork on time, and ensure loads are restrained safely. A current driver's and forklift license, plus a heavy rigid license and a minimum 12-month clean driving record, are required.

Qualifications

• Current valid driver's license and forklift license.
• Heavy rigid license with 12+ months driving history.
• Experience driving metro, regional and interstate deliveries.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player with customer-facing focus.

Responsabilités

• Drive metro, regional and interstate on a scheduled basis.
• Develop a strong working relationship with customers, providing a friendly and professional attitude.
• Completion of paperwork on time and in full.
• Understand load restraint per National Load Restraint Guidelines.
• Assist in loading and unloading of tyres.
• Drive in a time-sensitive environment.
• Refuel and maintain cleanliness of allocated equipment.
• Promptly report mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays.
• Hold a current, valid driver's and forklift license.
• Heavy rigid license required, with a minimum 12 month good driving record.
• Keep up to date with mandatory training.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team-oriented and committed to delivering a high standard.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and highly skilled driver, that enjoys interactions with customers, to join our close-knit team and assist in growing our business. In a growth phase, we are adding to our team to ensure it meets all delivery needs for our customers and having a passionate, energised team member to meet these requirements is fundamental. This is a fulltime position Monday-Friday, with some overtime required.

Our tasks include, but not limited to:

• Being available to drive metro, regional and interstate on a scheduled basis
• Develop a strong working relationship with customers, providing a friendly and professional attitude
• Completion of paperwork on time and in full
• Understanding of load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines
• Be prepared to assist in the loading and unloading of tyres
• Driving in a time sensitive environment
• Refueling and maintaining cleanliness of allocated equipment
