Job summary

Tyremax, a leading tyre wholesaler, is seeking a Warehouse Operator at our Cranbourne Distribution Centre. Join a fast-paced team and contribute to efficient stock handling, despatch, and customer service.

Two permanent shifts are offered: 6:00am–2:06pm and 8:24am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role requires forklift licence (LO preferred) and car licence, with heavy lifting and team collaboration. Pre-employment medical and police-check may be required.

• Ability to organise and manage deadlines and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Despatch and picking with accurate attention to detail.
• Place stock in designated despatch areas before loading into vans.
• Assist loading delivery vans and double-check product for delivery.
• Receive stock, check against dockets for quality and quantity, and restock picking locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse and external areas.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for reliable and motivated Warehouse Operators who enjoy hands-on work and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

We offer two permanent shift options to suit different lifestyles and commitments:

• 6:00am – 2:06pm – Ideal for early starters who enjoy finishing their workday earlier and having their afternoons free.
• 8:24am – 4:30pm – Perfect for those who prefer a later start while still enjoying a consistent Monday to Friday schedule.

Primarily, the role of the Warehouse Operator is to assist with the management, movement and handling of stock to ensure operational efficiency and high levels of customer service.

• Warehouse Despatch.
• Pick product ensuring accurate attention to detail is maintained at all times.
• Placing of product in designated despatch area prior to loading into the delivery vehicles.
• Assist with the loading of delivery vans and the double checking of product for delivery.
• Warehouse Receivables and Stock Replenishment.
• Unloading incoming stock from delivery vehicles/containers.
• Checking incoming stock against delivery dockets for quality and quantity.
• Placement of incomming stock into designated stock locations.
• Re-stocking of picking locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse and external hardstand areas.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar position and be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
