Job summary

TAL, a leading Australian life insurer with a 150-year legacy, is hiring an Onboarding Delivery Manager for the Group Digital team in Sydney. You will own end-to-end onboarding delivery for TAL's superannuation partners, coordinating across Product, Technology, and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes with a focus on partner experience.

You will lead prioritisation, manage risks and dependencies, drive efficient cross-functional delivery, and empower teams to deliver value

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of delivery management experience in technology environments.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end software across multiple squads.
• Experience in product/value-stream delivery model and agile practices.
• Experience delivering in regulated financial services or insurance.
• Strong coordination across cloud, cyber, infra, and other tech domains.
• Experience with testing, UAT, and release management.
• Customer/partner facing delivery programmes experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery cadence across VS1 and optimise flow.
• Set and maintain prioritisation across squads when demand exceeds capacity.
• Own internal testing processes and release readiness gates.
• Identify delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Adapt plans to changing partner needs while maintaining transparency.
• Maintain delivery health metrics and report status, risks, progress.
• Serve as primary delivery interface for super fund partners and Administrators.
• Lead and coach delivery team members for growth.
