Job summary

TAL Australia is seeking friendly, motivated people to join our Customer Experience team and help make every customer interaction positive. You’ll provide outstanding service by following our customer practices, staying authentic, empathetic and engaged, and by acting with care and accountability.

In this role you will be the first point of contact, resolve queries on the spot, handle simple admin tasks, assist with escalations, and ensure privacy and compliance in every interaction.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a contact centre or customer service role is preferred, but not essential.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Friendly, professional phone manner and a collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for customers and aim to resolve their query on the spot.
  • Complete simple admin tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Help with escalations or complaints, working to resolve them as soon as possible.

Job Description

  • Receive comprehensive training to learn about life insurance, our products, and our systems – with plenty of support as you grow in the role

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multitask and manage your time well
  • Experience in a contact centre or customer service role (preferred, but not essential)
  • Willing to work full-time on a rotating roster between 8am–7pm, Monday to Friday (NSW hours)
Additional Information
  • We are recruiting multiple roles that will all commence on the 26th October 2026. You will be required to attend full-time training for approximately 10 weeks and due to a structured induction timeline, you won’t be able to take annual leave during this period
