Job summary

Country Care Group in Willawong, QLD is seeking a Delivery Driver (Specialist) to join our team. You will handle delivery and setup of mobility equipment to private homes, aged care facilities and hospitals, while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will need a current unrestricted driver's licence, forklift licence, and be physically fit. Police checks and NDIS worker checks may be required, and vaccination status may be requested.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted driver's licence and forklift licence are required.
• Excellent computer literacy and numeracy skills.Physically fit for manual work.
• Police clearance or willingness to obtain one; NDIS worker check or willingness to obtain.
• Evidence of Covid vaccination and current flu vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellence in customer service while handling mobility equipment deliveries.
• Unpacking, labeling, storing, and picking/packaging for delivery.
• Set up and demonstra tion of equipment at customer sites as required.
• Process transport consignments and manage specialised deliveries to homes, facilities or hospitals.

We're currently seeking a Delivery Driver (Specialist) to join our dynamic team based in Willawong, QLD.

As the Delivery Driver (Specialist), you will play a crucial role in our delivery services, movement/storage of product, loading and unloading of trucks and containers as well as the delivery of mobility equipment such as lift chairs, scooters and walking frames to private houses or aged care facilities and assist in setting up the equipment and demonstrating to the customer as required, all whilst providing exceptional customer service.

A National Police Check clearance will be required for this position, and you must maintain a current unrestricted Drivers Licence, adhere to the Australian road rules and be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check. A Forklift licence would be an advantage.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellence in customer service
• Clean returned hire stock in line with company policy
• Receive and dispatch stock
• Unpacking, labelling, and storing of goods
• Pick and pack products for delivery
• Process transport consignments
• Undertake specialised deliveries and pickups of Assistive Technology and mobility aids to and/or from private homes, aged care facilities and hospitals
• Setting up and demonstrating the equipment to the customer as required.

Skills & Experience:

• Unrestricted drivers licence
• Have a Forklift licence
• Excellent computer, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Physically fit for manual work
• Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating empathy and compassion in all customer interactions
• Police clearance or willingness to obtain one
• NDIS worker check or willingness to obtain
• Evidence of Covid vaccination and current flu.
