Job summary

Stratco is recruiting an experienced Delivery Driver for our Fyshwick site in the Australian Capital Territory. You will be part of the logistics team, assisting with packaging, loading and delivery to trade and retail customers, while reporting to the ACT Branch Manager.

You will work closely with the loading team, ensure loads are secured and documented, and uphold our Safety First culture across operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem solving to meet customer needs
• Enthusiastic with strong work ethic
• Enjoys working autonomously
• MC or HC license essential
• Forklift ticket preferred but not essential
• Dogging certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Secure load and prepare manifest
• Deliver and unload goods at customer premises as required
• Scan and update records and manifests
• Maintain vehicle and driver logs
• Perform general housekeeping tasks

THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Delivery Driver based out of our Fyshwick site. This position involves working as part of our collaborative team - reporting to the ACT Branch Manager.

As a Delivery Driver you will be a member of our logistics team and be required to assist with packaging, loading and delivery of products to our trade and retail customer base.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in partnership with the loading team to locate finished goods and assist with placement onto delivery vehicles
• Secure load and prepare manifest
• Deliver and unload goods at customer premises as required
• Scan and update records and manifests
• Maintain vehicle and driver logs
• General housekeeping activities
• Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

• A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs
• Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
• Enjoys working autonomously
• CV license or crane truck experience highly advantageous
• MC or HC license essential
• Forklift ticket whilst preferred is not essential
• Dogging certificate (preferred)
