Job summary

Stratco is seeking a delivery professional to join our logistics team. You will apply your Heavy Rigid license and driving experience to plan, secure, and deliver loads to customer sites. This role requires safety-conscious work at pace across metro and regional routes.

As part of Stratco, you will contribute to a safety-first culture, work autonomously when needed, and support ongoing customer satisfaction through reliable deliveries and professional conduct on every shift.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) license with driving experience.
• Desirable: experience operating a truck-mounted crane.
• Willing to work metro and country delivery routes.
• Physically capable of frequent lifting and movement.
• Reliable, proactive problem-solver who prioritises safety.
• Enjoys working autonomously with energy and pace.

Responsibilities

• Review load sheets and plan loads for delivery.
• Secure loads and prepare manifests; assist loading when needed.
• Deliver to customers and place loads on-site as required.
• Maintain vehicle and driver log.
• Liaise with Despatch team and customers on delivery issues.
• Keep the truck clean and up-to-date with maintenance.
• Collaborate with team and other departments.
• Strictly adhere to safety rules to ensure a safe workplace.

• Essential – Heavy Rigid License & driving experience (HR)
• Desirable – Experience operating a truck mounted crane
• Willingness to work metro and country runs
• Strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role

Your responsibilities will include

• Review vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery truck
• Secure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when required
• Deliver to customers and place onsite as required
• Maintain vehicle and driver log
• Liaise with Despatch team and customers on delivery issues and delays
• Keep a clean truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to date
• Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
