Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Delivery Director - M6 for up to 2.5 years to lead the delivery of a major motorway tunnel project in NSW. Based in Mascot, you will oversee strategy, governance and cross-functional delivery with the Head Contractor and project teams to meet time, cost, safety and quality targets.

You will bring extensive motorway construction delivery experience, strong collaboration skills and a proven track record managing complex mega projects within a government setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in design and delivery of motorway construction projects.
• Experience in all stages of complex infrastructure mega project life cycle.
• Exceptional project management skills for large-scale road/tunnel projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and promote collaboration across functions.
• Ensure delivery to time, cost, safety and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Head Contractor's Construction Manager and project teams.
• Work with Transport branches and managers on critical business decisions.
• Navigate constraints and drive problem solving with a 'best for project' mindset.
• Lead and develop delivery team under challenging conditions.
