Job summary

Cleared Recruitment is supporting a privately owned Australian Defence technology company seeking multiple Software Engineers across levels, from experienced engineers to senior specialists. You will design, develop, and deliver advanced software for modelling, simulation and mission-critical systems, contributing to Australia's future defence needs.

Roles involve working across Windows and Linux environments, with exposure to AI/LLMs, microservices, and containers.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience with ability to design, develop, test, and document clean, maintainable code.
• Proficiency in programming languages including C++, C#, Java, and/or Python.
• Experience developing applications across Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Experience working across the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Defence systems or complex technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deliver clean, maintainable code across projects.
• Contribute to modelling, simulation, and mission-critical software capabilities.
