HorizonOne Recruitment is partnering with a client delivering security focused IT services in Canberra. They seek experienced Systems Administrators to support Windows, Linux, storage and networks within a complex enterprise environment.

Ideal candidates bring Defence or government experience, NV1/NV2 clearance, and the ability to manage security, reliability and performance across mixed environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Defence or Government IT environment is highly regarded.
• NV1/NV2 security clearance is required or must be obtainable.
• Ability to work across Windows, Linux, networks, storage and security.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows server environments and manage AD.
• Support enterprise storage and virtualised infrastructure.
• Manage backups and ensure system availability.
• Troubleshoot technical incidents across IT environments.
• Implement and maintain security controls and hardening.
• Monitor performance of servers, networks and storage.
• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure and remote sites.
