The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to work within a complex and highly secure technology environment, providing administration, maintenance and support across enterprise infrastructure, networking and business applications.
As part of a team of technical specialists, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security and performance of key systems while providing technical support to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administration and support of enterprise ICT infrastructure.
- Maintain and support Windows Server environments and associated technologies.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Microsoft-based services.
- Support Linux systems and applications where required.
- Manage virtualised environments, enterprise storage platforms and backup solutions.
- Monitor system performance, availability and security compliance.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents and service requests.
- Implement and maintain system and network security controls.
- Support software deployment, patching and system imaging activities.
- Assist with LAN and WAN administration and network troubleshooting.
- Coordinate hardware procurement, deployment and lifecycle management.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- 5+ years' experience in systems administration, infrastructure support or a similar role.
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft technologies.
- Knowledge of virtualisation platforms and enterprise storage environments.
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11 desktop environments.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, LAN and WAN technologies.
- Experience with remote support tools, patch management and software deployment platforms.
- Exposure to Linux administration is desirable.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident and change management.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced technical environment.

- Hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV2 Australian Government Security Clearance.
