Job summary

Datacom in Canberra is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to grow our Defence portfolio across Canberra and nationally. You will identify, shape and win strategic opportunities, engaging with Defence leadership and key partners to deliver innovative technology solutions.

You will work across managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, applications and digital transformation, coordinating with pre-sales, LOBs and solution architects to drive new business growth and strengthen Datacom's

Qualifications

8+ years of sales experience within the Department of Defence and Canberra market.
Ability to manage long sales cycles including RFP responses.
Experience engaging with senior Defence stakeholders and vendors.
Strong written and verbal communication, and relationship building.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

Identify, shape and win strategic Defence opportunities for Datacom.
Engage with senior Defence stakeholders, industry partners and vendors.
Collaborate with pre-sales, LOB leads and solution architects to craft proposals.
Drive new business growth and expand Datacom's market presence.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
