Qualifications

• Three years of software testing experience in engineering environments.
• Experience translating requirements into test cases.
• Experience functional, integration, system and regression testing.
• Experience in secure/restricted environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and delivery processes.
• Experience with defect/test management tools.
• Strong Linux experience (RHEL).
• Hands-on networking tools like Wireshark or tcpdump.
• Experience with bespoke and COTS components.

Responsibilities

• Developing test strategies, plans, scripts, cases and supporting documentation.
• Executing functional, integration, system and regression testing.
• Investigating, reproducing and documenting software defects.
• Communicating technical issues clearly to engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Testing systems hosted across internal and external environments.
• Using product knowledge to conduct investigative and exploratory testing.
• Adapting test approaches to suit different stages of the delivery lifecycle.
• Contributing to technical discussions, engineering practices and continuous improvement.
• Supporting the deployment and integration of bespoke and commercial software components.
