Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Seams person at Gallipoli Barrack, Enoggera, to join a Defence services team. The role focuses on sewing, attaching rank, and basic alterations, within a secure environment and standard operating procedures.

The successful candidate will work with Ventia systems, demonstrate strong time management, and meet Defence security requirements. This is a permanent full-time position with weekday hours and provided PPE/uniforms.

Qualifications

• Sewing-based experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to meet Defence security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sewing and attaching rank and badges in line with Defence standards.
• Complete basic alterations such as hemming.
• Use Ventia systems and computer terminals.
• Maintain and process the Online Ordering System.
• Comply with WHS, security and environmental requirements.
