Job summary

OCRT Consulting is seeking schedulers to support a major Defence capability program in Canberra. You will develop, maintain and integrate division-wide milestones and certifications into the IMS, underpinning governance with clear schedule risk reporting.

You will manage the divisional WBS, mentor staff, and coordinate reviews across multiple workstreams to ensure timely delivery and visibility for leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience building and integrating schedules on complex Defence capability programs.
• Familiarity with One Defence Capability System (ODCS).
• Strong analytical skills to surface trends and risks.
• Able to work under pressure across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and maintain division-wide milestone and certification schedules aligned to program phases, using Open Plan Professional and other tools.
• Build and maintain a branch enabling-function and ICT schedule.
• Coordinate, monitor and report on scheduled activity progress.
• Identify and advise on schedule delays, changes, risks and mitigations.
• Own and maintain the divisional Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Integrate the divisional delivery schedule into the group-level IMS.
• Coordinate divisional schedule reviews and audits, and support group-level reviews.
• Provide ad hoc scheduling mentorship and advice across the group.
• Produce monthly and ad hoc schedule reporting against agreed metrics.
• Participate in governance forums and stakeholder meetings as required.
