Job summary

Compass Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor for HMAS Albatross in Nowra. This full-time leadership role oversees daily operations, motivates staff and delivers high hospitality standards for Defence personnel.

You will lead a trained team, ensure food safety and service excellence, and participate in rostering and events. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided, with clear career progression within Compass Group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Team Leader or similar hospitality role.
• Minimum one year of supervision or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills with sound computer literacy, including email and basic systems.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements, allergen management and food safety standards.
• Positive, proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Current driver's licence and full Australian working rights.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support day-to-day food and beverage operations.
• Lead, motivate and develop team members to maintain productivity and service standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service across dining facilities and hospitality functions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
