Downer Group in Queensland seeks a PAS Operations Support Manager to lead cross-site Defence estate services, including upkeep, land management, aerodrome operations and training area management. You will drive performance, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and compliance across sites.

The role requires extensive senior operations and contract-management experience, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to obtain AGSVA security clearance.

Formación

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Facilities Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive senior operations or contract management experience in infrastructure, Defence, or regulated environments.
• Proven experience leading large, multi-site service delivery contracts with subcontractors, WHS, audits, risk and contract compliance.
• Strong financial literacy with budgeting, forecasting and reporting; capable of government/Defence engagement.
• Ability to obtain and retain AGSVA security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the delivery and integration of Estate Upkeep, Land Management, Aerodrome Operations, and Training Area/Range Management across Queensland Defence sites.
• Oversee multi-site operations and subcontractors; ensure KPIs, safety, quality, and compliance.
• Manage regional budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, variations and value-for-money improvements.
• Build relationships with Defence stakeholders; represent Downer in regional forums; act as escalation point for Queensland operations.
• Lead and develop regional service leads and support teams; drive performance and continuous improvement.
