Kinexus is expanding its Defence recruitment team and seeking a contract recruiter to pivot into defence. You’ll grow a contract desk, engage with government clients, and manage contractor relationships, delivering recurring revenue and workforce solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success managing a profitable contract or temporary recruitment desk.
• Strong contractor care, account management and business development capability.
• Experience maintaining recurring revenue streams and growing existing client relationships.
• Commercial acumen and an understanding of the metrics that drive a contracting business.
• Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, resilient and results focused approach.
• Defence, Government, ICT, Engineering, Infrastructure or technical recruitment experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a contract recruitment desk within the Defence and Government sector.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, contractors and candidates.
• Deliver consistent contractor placements and ongoing workforce solutions across key accounts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective client organisations.
• Build and maintain talent pools of security cleared and specialist professionals.
• Negotiate contract opportunities and manage contractor engagement throughout the employment lifecycle.
• Develop a strong market presence and become a trusted advisor to clients and candidates.
• Work collaboratively with leadership to identify growth opportunities for the desk and wider business.
• Mentor and support a team of recruiters where appropriate.
• Contribute to the continued success and reputation of Kinexus within the Australian Defence market.
